The most important festivals are: "A Fleur de Jazz", from May to September; "Foire St-Germain"," Fete du Pont- Neuf", "Fete de la Musique" and "Fete du Cinéma" in June; "La Villette Jazz Festival" and "Festival de Danse" in July; "Paris Quartier d’Eté" and "Festival du Cinéma de la Villette" in July and August; "Festival de Musique de Chambre" in September; "Festival d’Automne" from mid-September to mid-December; "Festival d’Art Sacré" and "Festival de Jazz" in October.


Product exhibitions: "Musicora" for classical music in April; "Photo Video Son" for musical instruments and electronic and video-musical equipment in September; "Salon de la musique" in September.


Art exhibitions: "Salon de Mars" for antique, primitive, modern and contemporary art until the end of March at the Champ-de-Mars; "Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain" (International Fair of Contemporary Art) at the end of October; "Salon d’Automne" for painting, sculpture, photography in October and November followed by the "Salon des Artistes Indépendants" (Salon of Independent Artists), a themed display.

 

Christmas

There are many Christmas Markets in Paris. From the Montparnasse and Saint Sulpice to those of la Défense. Not to mention the spectacle of the illuminations along the Champs-Elysée or Les Galeries Lafayette.
